Sharp Dimension Estimates of Holomorphic Functions and Rigidity

Let M be a complete noncompact Kähler manifold of complex dimension n with nonnegative holomorphic bisectional curvature. Denote by Od(M) the space of holomorphic functions of polynomial growth of degree at most d on M. In this paper we prove that dimCOd(M) ≤ dimCO[d](C), for all d > 0, with equality for some positive integer d if and only if M is holomorphically isometric to C. We also obtain ...

Application of the Norm Estimates for Univalence of Analytic Functions

By using norm estimates of the pre-Schwarzian derivatives for certain family of analytic functions, we shall give simple sufficient conditions for univalence of analytic functions.

Horadam Polynomials Estimates for $lambda$-Pseudo-Starlike Bi-Univalent Functions

In the present investigation, we use the Horadam Polynomials to establish upper bounds for the second and third coefficients of functions belongs to a new subclass of analytic and $lambda$-pseudo-starlike bi-univalent functions defined in the open unit disk $U$. Also, we discuss Fekete-Szeg$ddot{o}$ problem for functions belongs to this subclass.

From Holomorphic Functions to Holomorphic Sections

It is a pleasure to have the opportunity in the graduate colloquium to introduce my research field. I am a differential geometer. To be more precise, I am a complex differential geometer, although I am equally interested in real differential geometry. To many people, geometry is a kind of mathematics that is related to length, area, volume, etc. For the Euclidean geometry, this is indeed the ca...

Explicit eigenvalue estimates for transfer operators acting on spaces of holomorphic functions

We consider transfer operators acting on spaces of holomorphic functions, and provide explicit bounds for their eigenvalues. More precisely, if Ω is any open set in C, and L is a suitable transfer operator acting on Bergman space A(Ω), its eigenvalue sequence {λn(L)} is bounded by |λn(L)| ≤ A exp(−an), where a,A > 0 are explicitly given.
